Hi Sacha, what do you for a living?
I'm a solicitor and I work as a Prosecutor for the Crown Prosecution Service. I specialise in sex offences. I love my job!
How and why did you first get involved with RRC?
I had run solo for 20 years and felt I didn't need a club. In October 2017, after persuasion from Caroline Stackhouse Evans, I came down on Tuesday night. The rest is history.
What is your favourite running memory or moment?
Finishing the New York marathon in 2013. In 2012, hurricane Sandy wiped out NYC marathon after I had already travelled to NYC. Then, I'd badly torn my calf 8 weeks before the 2013 race. My good friend spotted me in the crowd as we entered Central park and we crossed the line together. Sweet ending.
Tell us something about yourself that might surprise us...
I've suffered with mental health difficulties since I was 12 and I had a year off school as a teenager. I have been hospitalised with post natal depression. Running is my saviour as I know it is for many of you similarly dealing with managing mental health.
